In Sound Mind Torrent is a single-player, first-person psychological horror game. Where the main character of this game takes the role of Desmond Wales who is a psychologist investigating the death of one of his patients due to an experimental chemical. The search for the answer behind the death leads him to weird things as documented patients’ history begin to flow in his life. Each level of this game is represented by cassette tapes based on the patient’s trauma that is transported into his psyche and his nightmare is revealed as a literal monster. The overall narrative of the story is that the player will experience a series of haunting memories and he can progress through overcoming the fear of monsters, unique puzzle-solving, mechanics, weapons, investigation and boss fight.
